Today more than ever cheap airline tickets are hard to find. The gas fiasco has caused such a ripple effect on all of our transportation industries that it is making it very difficult to travel like we used to. Because of gas, airlines are raising their prices to record highs and it is only making people less willing to buy, which in turn furthers the cycle as they run out of business.
So, what do you do? How can you possibly get the lowest air fares today when every option seems to lead to more and more spending?
Well, there is one option.
I had a friend who traveled across the country for just $20 or so per trip. Even if she went to England, it only cost her a little over $100. How did she do this? Easy! She worked for the airlines! And that's the secret to getting the lowest air fares in town. The problem is you cannot be on the opposite end during these times - the consumer loses in these situations. You have to be an insider - you have to work for the man - in order to get the lowest air fares.
